I published my second book, Shipwright, Boat Builder, Yachtsman as a personal memoir detailing my years as a young apprentice in New Zealand during the 1960s. The two decades of the 1960s and 1970s turned out to be an influential period of my life and began a long career of working and sailing on various craft. I initially thought to write this story for my children and grandchildren to illustrate a bygone age, and age that has changed out of all recognition of the past sixty years. As other family members and close friends came to hear of my efforts, they too expressed interest in obtaining a copy of my work. Now that the first print run in complete and having received positive feedback from many, I offer it here for your entertainment. Please enjoy.

Published in 2014, and still in steady demand, Beyond Wallerscote Manor explores the origins of the Littler family in the County of Cheshire, England. The story I write builds on earlier work by George Ormerod and looks to what might have become of the Littler family at the time of the English Civil War during the mid-17th Century. In the course of my research, I have endeavoured to link my pedigree into that of the Littler family who owned Wallerscote Manor at the time of its sale in 1636. While circumstantial evidence tells me I have successfully achieved this, there are others of our family with the same name and in the same timeframe who are also strong contenders. My book includes pedigrees, maps and illustrations to bring together all that I have gleaned about the Littler family during the 17th Century.
